Galatians

Galatians

"The Apostle Paul again proclaims the gospel to the church at Galatia. Jewish Christians erroneously insisted that the Gentile converts to Christianity abide by certain Old Testament laws and rituals, especially circumcision. But Paul sternly corrects his readers and explains again that a person is saved solely by the grace of God (God's unmerited favor) through faith in Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Believers are to be led by the Holy Spirit, not by the law, and the leading of the Spirit will be evidenced by good attitudes and behavior towards others."

Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted. (NKJV)

13. Galatians 2:16

Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified. (NKJV)

Grace to you and peace from God the Father and our Lord Jesus Christ. (NKJV)
