Can we Trust the Bible ?

Can we Trust the Bible ?

Can we trust the Bible as a historical and authentic source? Thousands of years have passed, and numerous versions of the Bible have seen the light of day. Can we be sure that it has been correctly translated from Aramaic to Hebrew, Greek, Latin, German, English, and other languages? Can we be sure that its historical accounts and messages have not been distorted over this time?

Many of us probably think that it would be strange if the original content, format, and meaning of the text had not changed over such a long time with all these transcriptions and translations. Therefore, it is easy for many of us to draw hasty conclusions about diluted truthfulness, and weak scientific and historical verification of the Bible's authenticity. It is easy to get carried away by this conclusion and dismiss the Bible as unimportant, and its historical accounts, places, individuals, and messages as mere stories.

But then we have fallen into a classic trap. We have, due to a lack of knowledge and the absence of our own investigations, assumed an incorrect conclusion. Do not be discouraged; it happens all the time in our lives that we draw incorrect conclusions because we are pressed for time, comfortable, uninterested, or simply rushing off to other goals in life.

With these texts I want to highlight that the Bible, in its exact translation from the earliest books and original texts to the King James Version (which serves as the reference for most Bible versions after it) differs by less than 1%. Today's King James Version more than meets the requirements in both content and authenticity to be considered important and historically accurate.

With the help of the scientific developments in archaeology, linguistics, physics, chemistry and paleontology, new discoveries are being uncovered and old ones are being revised. These are accumulated over time and they verify in the vast majority the places, events, individuals and time spans of the Bible. We find that science confirms the Bible, not refutes it. I intend to present a number of the more important ones in this text.

There are many questions regarding the meaning of specific words and phrases in the Bible were science and many laymens have more or less relevant objections to Biblical statements. and what GOD actually means. Some of the statements could be GOD´s perception of:

1. Time.

2. Duality.

3. GOD as the Creator of all things.

4. The existence of a soul.

These are just a few examples and I will try to adress them in specific chapters.
